This is a video about the Chinese Civil War that occured immediately after WW2. Although they lost, the Republic of China was the first to fight the communists in Asia. Free China and Dr. Sun Yet Sen's Three Principles of People exist on Taiwan today.

The Communists are just as corrupt. Without their big empty cities that people can't even live in, no wonder they became the 2nd largest economy in the world. If they wanted to, they can manipulate the data and become no. 1, but they are modest. The US will fall to China someday, I hope soon.
