well think of it this way.
You're all alone. Your friends are nowhere to be found. You look around, pure darkness twisting the surroundings. You realize that you are not in a tangible world anymore. This theme plays as you look forward. The one man whose death would mean the end of the conflict stands before you, weapons at the ready. In a second, you pray that the others are all right and in a moment summon your keyblade.
