There are two buttons that control it- one button to raise it and one button to fire the cannon. There is a sensor in the helmet to allow for the head tracking movement and the laser sight turns on when the cannon raises into firing position.
There's a tutorial here-

  • I read the tutorial, but, how can you detect rotation with an accelerometer? Or are you actually tilting your head left and right to make the cannon move?

  • @MMX3SE

You have to tilt your head- it's explained in the tutorial FAQ section.

  • Is the signal for cannon's rotation received from a gyroscope? or Accelerometer?

  • @MMX3SE

It's accelerometer driven- everything is in the tutorial.

  • Hello, what are you using to make sounds? Or is that classified?

  • @MMX3SE

I use an Adafruit Wave Shield for sound. It's all in the tutorial- just click on the link.
