if they want to, then yes by all means. Paki women should have the right to wear whatever they're comfortable in, and paki society has to be open to the fact that women are capable of making their own decisions. If a girl is comfortable in a salwaar kameez or t-shirt and jeans its her decision what she wants to wear.

Good effort. Reflects the interests of a small minority of Pakistanis. Most Pakistanis feel proud of their artistic and beautiful traditional dresses. But nothing wrong if some among us compete globally. My only advice to the organizers: Refrain from using this event to make political statements and portraying this as a challenge to the conservative segments of Pakistanis. The religious component of our culture is legitimate, just as your right to stage this event is. Celebrate all Pakistanis.
