Bangladesh is moving ahead in the right target despite many drawbacks. Dr. Younus talks about some of the socio-economic parameters supporting this. And let me tell you a few others.
* Bangladesh got Nobel Prize in 2006
* Bangladesh could reduce corruption and terrorism in last year
* Bangladesh is one of the top cricket playing nations having several achievements recently.

To stop corruption, all political parties should get ultimatum that if they want join politic they have to stop business as usual.
Otherwise they have to face another Govt. like this one in 5 years. That time, it can be really bad for them.

I concur with Dr. Yunus about the deep sea port opportunity for Bangladesh. I think Bangladesh also needs to think of improving infrastructure. More especifically, IT infrastructure. Bangladesh can earn U.S. dollars from IT outsourcing services. We do have a large number of graduates who can be trained to do IT enabled and BPO services. Government needs a strategic plan for IT infrastrucutre improvement.
