In college I bought my first camera - a 35 mm Pentax with a 70-200 zoom. I enjoyed documenting the adolescent madness of camping trips, day hikes, and what now seem like primitive fishing and diving excursions. Ah, the formative years!... I placed photos in albums up until around the early 90's, but ran out of steam at some point. Between the end of the album era and the beginning of the digital revolution for me I ended up with a few boxes full of pics and negatives that have long sat neglected - only inventoried once every few years, nostalgically over a few late night brews. I decided to pick through for fish shots that I could scan and share, but lots of other stuff ended up on the project table. I put together this video to show the character of where "Abking" came from. It's not really a name you know, as much as it's a way to live. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks in advance for devoting a little time and some positive energy to watching it and re-living a little of my life with me.
This is the first time I have seen this one, great vid and I like the sound track you used fit it very well.
