actualy the mayans believed, we will have cosmic consiousness on 11-11-2011. 2012 is the ending of this cycle where time will have no more meaning. Hard to comprehend, but they where great fortunetellers. At the moment we live in the "global consiousness" cycle. Started during the total solar eclipse of July 11, 1991. Also the time internet was launched.
