The ALTC hosted free lazer tag games for people at the Auburn 4th of July Festival this year. It was very similar to last year, but in a new location in the park, with a LOT more exposure, resulting in a LOT more players. Except for a few games at the beginning, we had full 24 player games for the entire festival, over 4 hours straight, with no breaks. It was crazy, but a lot of fun, too!
Hey greg! I've been watching for a while and have been wondering. Do you know how to make a laser tag system?

I appreciate you watching for a while. Unfortunately, no, I don't know how to make my own. If I did, I'd probably be using that. If you want to know how to make some really great laser tag stuff, do a google on milestag. the first hit will get you everything you need. I hope you're good with a soldering iron and building things from scratch. :)

Just out of curiousity, what games were played?

pretty much only Respawn games, 2 and 3 teams. This was the only game that didn't require the host to play, and was scored on tags. I'd much rather have them play a 3 team Survival game, but then the host would have to play, or more likely, I'd have team one short a player. Hopefully next year, I'll have some kind of hosting computer.
