on season one dvds was the paramount killer in the closet logo at the end of each episode?

i recently bought the odd couple season one and it had the cbs/paramount modern logo i was quite disappointed anyways cheers

No, they don't. I have The Odd Couple seasons also, and none of those releases do, either.

I showed this to my mom the other night, and it made her cry. Then she went on to explain that to her, these were the good old days, right about the time she graduated from college and married my dad. Come to find out, this was their favorite show and they watched it together every Friday night. My dad died in 1976. She then went out and bought the whole set. Thanks for posting this. Brought a widow some good memories.

Nice little 1968 Dodge dart gt convertible at :20 :}}} I loved this how as a kid in the early 70's..I remember one episode with Colonel Klink "Werner Klemperer" alot of great talent no longer with us on this old tv show. Wish I could get the cd set somewhere?

Finally, an unedited recording of the original Charles Fox end theme song. Thanks! Friday night was when you relaxed after a long week. This clip reminds us of our "comfort zone" from that time, giving that warm feeling once again.

Syndicated LAS reruns have a shorter, edited version of the end theme, so it's nice to see and hear the wholepiece again after a 36 year absence, complete with the sunset view from the brass bed.

Hmmm... I have strange memories of some short comic sketches occuring between stories on the episodes of this show. "Blackouts" I think the producers called them. One set involved a series of running gags involving a rich girl in a bathtub---out in the open. If anybody's got footage of that, please post it here. I don't think they came out on any of the DVD releases.

If you want to see the rest of the series released on DVD, please enter "Love American Style Petition" into google so you can visit the petition site & add your name!

If enough people do this, perhaps CBS/Paramount will listen and issue the remaining seasons (uncut & with all original music, as with Season 1).

It would also be a very nice touch if, as others here have duly noted, they included the original closing Paramount logos & fantares, too. ;-)
