Votre simplicité et votre goût du partage des oeuvres classiques et baroques, votre pédagogie ont faient de vous le Maître incontestable du plus ancien instrument de musique du monde....

I actually love this movement even more than the Albinoni Adagio....Such purity of heart and soul, not to mention tone and technique....Maurice: thank-you, and may you enjoy playing duets again with Dizzy and St Gabriel in Heaven!

@Wolfgang575 He was playing E using 1st+2nd, but switched to an alternate fingering (holding down #3 and trilling with $2) to play the trill between E and D#. Otherwise playing the trill would have meant holding down #2 and alternating #1 and #3 - difficult to do smoothly. Third valve, or 1st+2nd valves, play that same note (though the intonation tends to be slightly different).

@Wolfgang575 Your answer is under his pointer finger. It has 4 valves but he holds the forth down with his left hand so that his right is more free to play. Look at 2:30 it will show all 4 valves.

Just perfect.
But what happens at about 4:00? He obviously made some change on the trumpet as he plays the same tonality but performs a halftone higher on the valves?!?!
