Low risk, high pay, no accountability, low tax (maybe even no tax), got Pension on top of salaries. PM in Singapore is paid 4 to 6 times that of the US president.

Singaporean Ministers are the world’s highest-paid public servants. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s salary to S$3.7 million, or US$2.53 million, more than six times that of US President Obama. UK Prime Minister Cameron receives the equivalent of US$170,556. In addition to their ministerial posts they also tend to hold various directorship positions... so yeah, in Singapore you're actually better off in the public sector than in the private :)

I thought that other countries ( European Unions ) Ministers are paid more?
