@4turrold5 Well him alone, yes. He was too stupid because they all failed eventually. But since his father was in such high positions(Director of the CIA and eventually President), the companies "miraculously" found angel investors. They were Saudis that kept the companies afloat to raise the value of the shares long enough for Jr. to sell right before they dropped. Which was insider trading and as you know illegal. But I do agree with you that he is too stupid. Example, The Texas Rangers.

I would submit to you that the amount of brains it takes to SUCCESSFULLY run a business in a corrupt fashion, and get away with it, is about the same as it takes to run a nation. And if you don't believe that, look at the banks. They run this country and they are corrupt.

@4turrold5 George Bush was a corporate criminal long before he became a politician. Look at all of his failed companies that he somehow made a profit on right before their stock went to shit. He was too stupid to be a real President that could make intelligent and informed decisions that mattered but not too stupid to be a corrupt businessman. He and his administration just ran their business through the White House.

George Bush was too stupid to be corrupt. He was just the lightening rod, so that if the American people ever did revolt and storm the White House and break out the gulliotines and hang ropes like they should have by now, then the extreme right in such a scenario could simply say, "Well it wasn't our fault, That man made us do it." And thereby, get away with their bullshit. I don't think Georgie Jr. is anywhere near smart enough to do this and get away with it. The problem is big money.
