It honestly sounds like her best music came out after leaving Prince. Not saying there was a connection... he's a genius... but the solo stuff she did is great.

I think Hollywood killed her cause she commanded sex!.. They didn't want her to knock out the Pamela Anderson and rest of blonde blue eyed type in hollywood, she potential to become the next hottest thing in hollywood!

@BrianPsychicBabystar I agree, she had alot of great stuff in her last 2 albums.

I do think however, that she could've had much success had she remained in the Prince camp.

Many of the songs Prince penned for Vanity, eventually went to Jill Jones, Apollonia & Sheila E. after she left the picture.
