[ch39] The Tormented Life Of A Teenager

I glared at Nick as he now kissed the breath out of Brittany and carried her up in his arms. Not until then did I notice that Brittany had a pool table in her house, because that's where Nick put her down.
She was lying on her back with her eyes closed. The music got louder. The lyrics were giving me more than a headache.
Nick grabbed her shirt and ripped it open. I started to sweat out all the alcohol in my system. I don't think I can bear this. Watching Nick explore her body, again.
They were going to do body shots again. I won't allow it. As I made my way to the pool table, Nick was making out with her again.
Not my girl.
I reached them a few seconds later and pushed Nick out of the way. He fell in Josh's arms just in time. They should've let him crash the floor.
Brittany didn't even complain when she saw me lurking on top of her.
"I can't believe you broke my heart and I still want you," I whispered in her ear before my lips landed on hers. If Brittany has a weakness, that would be my lips. She grabbed my shoulders and pushed me back. I was now standing and she had her legs around my waist.
"I can't believe you're torturing me like this and I still want you," she grinned. I could smell the alcohol in her breath. The girl wasn't sober. She wasn't thinking. Alcohol in, truth out.
She was about to kiss me again when I was pushed away.
"You had your chance, you screwed it up," Nick yelled at me over the loud music and caught her by the mouth again. I watched her struggle at first, making him pull back. She quickly stood up and disappeared into the crowd.

Brittany's POV:
I can't believe I just pretended to be drunk. I can't believe I just got kissed by Joe. I can't believe I was going to kiss him one more time, but I can't believe Nick got in between. I just can't believe whats going on around me. I just want to have fun. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna drink. Flat drink, shots, vodka, beer, everything. I prefer to have fun on my day, and regret everything I'll make tomorrow. I'm gonna drink so much, my brain will eventually stop working. Tonight, I'll have the fun of my life.

Joe's POV
Throughout the party, I would glare at Brittany who was drinking all by herself. I haven't seen Elina, Nick, Erica, no one. Just strange faces. Suddenly, I could get a hold of her. Just looking at how angelically and incredibly cute she looked even though she was flat drunk, I started to think of everything. I never thought it would come to this. Brothers fighting over the same girl. I hated to look at her so in love with my brother, and I hated how she keeps saying she wants me, but I loved it when she said she loved me.
But it was all a little trap to get Nick in under her grasp. And now we're here.
She's using me, she's playing with my feelings, she's trying to make me jealous by seducing my brother. It was amazing how I loved her a little more with every day that I didn't have her by my side. I was going crazier with everyday, so I tried to endure my suffering.
I know I mistreated her; I did her wrong, just to give myself something to think about. I hate myself for that but I'd rather have her hate me instead of not thinking of me at all.
Five girls were surrounding me. Ten hands were wandering my chest. Two pairs of lips were exploring my neck. It wasn't satisfying. It wasn't the same. I wanted my girl. Just her touch would send me flying over the moon.
I couldn't believe how Nick could be doing this to me. Knowing how much I love her, how much I long for her to be with me. How much I wanted things to be like they were just a few days ago.
I could bet anything it's me that Brittany wants. We both knew it. Nobody will love her like I do. I started to disregard any feelings but mine and Brittany's.

I didn't care if I broke a heart or two tonight. I didn't mind if a few people walked out of this house hating me. I walked towards Brittany, feeling my eyes burning. I was sick and tired. I'd had enough.
"I don't want to fight anymore."
She shot me a look of disbelief. The scent of alcohol was stronger now.
"You started this, Joe," she began, her voice a little slurred.
"No. You liked Nick and broke my heart to get to him," I argued.
She looked down, the booze starting to wear off. "When I was with you.. when I told you I loved you... I meant it. I always did. But you chose to believe a text message over me," the music was being turned down. I didn't even know what to believe anymore.
"But now I guess you're back in his spider web?" I looked from the wooden floor to her bright eyes.
"No.. it was all a plan to win you back. The one I love.." a tear streamed down her cheek. "The one I love is you, Joe."

So? SEX OR NO SEX? x] your wish is my command!
