My favourite scene in this movie ... amazingly rendered by Wim Wenders. Sends chills down my spine whenever I watch this. Extremely touching. I *LOVE* Damiel's soliloquy as he tends to (and then leaves the scene of) the motorcycle accident victim and begins traversing across the bridge: "The spots of the first drops of rain." "The sun." "The bread and wine." "Hopping." "Easter." "The veins of leaves." "The blowing grass." "The color of stones." "The pebbles on the stream's bed."
