  • Great I would have rated this video but with 55 ratings I'll leave it with the class number!

  • No other locomotive comes close and has such a huge following among modern traction enthusiasts. You can't get excited by a class 86, but you can about the Deltic.

  • This takes me back to 1980 at helpston north of peterboro' [only 6 yrs old] seeing 55013 "The Black Watch" on a lkx-york stopper,125's where already in then really good video of deltics !!

  • @Glenn1967ful i get exited by class 86s, 86s are helfire dont dis them! i had a favourite of evry class favourite deltic 55013 favourite class 86 86235 u get the idia the point is i like 86s aswell

  • @fioal99 55015 was Tulyar and indeed still is. Meld was 55003 which was sadly scrapped.

  • off to Edinburgh on sat behind Royal Scots Grey.. happydays !

  • searched everywhere for 55011 Royal Northumberland Fusiliers!

    travelled many a weekend between Derby/Newcastle in the early 70's , deltic engine noise is unmistakeable!
