Hey, KawasakiTV & Kawasaki. Why not include a list of acceptable solvents. Nobody knows what a high flash point solvent is. Try finding a list anywhere.

The flash point is the lowest temperature in which a substance will vaporize to form an ignitable mixture in air.

Gasoline is NOT a high flash point solvent, and it is foolish to use it for such purposes for one obvious reason - FIRE. It is highly flammable because of it's low flash point & high vapor density. People do stupid things: using gasoline to clean a filter would be a stupid thing to do. Kind of on a par with oiling your motorcycle drive chain while the engine is running. Sooner or later, some idiot out there will do it in a closed garage that has a natural gas water heater. BOOM.

Or just replace them cause they are very cheap

My filter went brittle after a while using petrol (gasoline) so I switched to no-toil and it is some good shit!
i wonder how long it stays :

i thought if you wash them in high flash point solvent like gasoline it will not make the filter last as long
