Anyone else think Captain Americas suit in The Avengers looks a bit silly? In Captain America: The First Avenger it looked very practical and battle ready. It actually looked like a suit that you'd want to take into battle with you. In the Avengers it looks like a cheap piece of spandex.

Well, I agree but you do have to keep in mind that like you said he is America's First Avenger. So he's pretty vintage. They're probably just trying to stick with the time eras. I don't know... Just my opinion :)
