Welcome to Les Baxter's Orchestra and Chorus, with Music of the 60's. Some pretty amazing playing from the violins! Sorry about the terrible quality

  • Words can't express the greatness of this performance. I wonder how much did it cost to pay all of those musicians. They're like an army of aural beauty. I guess back then, orchestras were a dime a dozen. A very captivating performance. I would love to see more Baxter performances.

  • @Manwithjeep Gave them money!

  • i came....

  • @RRaquello "... the theme song of the Phil Harris-Alice Faye Rexall (That's All!) radio program that was spun off the Jack Benny show in the late '40's."

WTF?! Are you as old as I am? Like, middle 70's?

  • 0.24 Holy shit bongo fury!

  • Les Baxter was always the one and only king of exotica, pure lushness..

  • Thanks God we had Les Baxter and thanks to the C.D. indutries that they're making C.Ds. of his music, the most woderful music I ever heard.

  • Check out my strings rendition of the 1967 Lassie Theme!
