ISLAND OF KRK (OTOK KRK), a tourism promo film directed by Bernardin Modrić and released by the Tourist Board of the Island of Krk, won special recognition at the 50th International TourFilm Festival 2012 held in Lecce, Italy.

97 films from 23 countries around the world were shown during the Festival. Among the tough competition, the ISLAND OF KRK (OTOK KRK / ISOLA DI VEGLIA) film won the special author award for direction, i.e. for an exceptional film presentation of the cultural and tourism values of this part of Croatia.
The mentioned festival, which is also the oldest international tourism film festival, was held in the period from June 20-24 under the auspices of Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Republic of Italy.
In mid-October this year, during the 15th ITF'CRO TourFilm Festival, which will be held in Solin under the auspices of Ivo Josipović, President of the Republic of Croatia, the award will be personally presented to Bernardin Modrić, director of the film.
