@AlisonChaynes Actually Guitar-top material Aka Spruce is exceptionally stiffness for its weight- you missed this most basic point of acoustic guitar building. Hard material to beat actually, but composites have the advantage of being tune-able so you can dial in the stiffness. Just like a wood guitar we have bracing to determine stiffness of the top, but we also can play with the thickness, material, weave, orientation of the top to determine stiffness.

@AlisonChaynes Come on, use your ears! I think there's a flaw in your reasoning, because my EARS tell me this company makes GREAT SOUNDING guitars! I like the sound of the Steel-String Rider even more, and it's even smaller.
I'm seriously considering a Blackbird for my next guitar. No, I can't afford it, you're right. But I'm a lifelong musician, and budget just ain't a concern for crazies like us. Quality comes first. AlisonChaynes, "eat a peach." I'm going shopping for a travel guitar.

After much research and listening on YouTube, I'm proud to report that I'm a new owner of a Blackbird Rider w infinity matrix

@scoutniagara after simply looking at both, i would say the rider, due to its small size.
but i prefer the looks of this model here, especially with the red in the soundport like that. looks simply evil, haha!
That is a Shure KSM 32 mic.
