English language program, Connect with English theme song, Dream Catcher. From its episode 44, Karin Anglin ( http://www.karinanglin.com ), as Rebecca, singing at an audition. Personally I love this song, which might resonate with all the other people who are trying very hard to pursue their dreams still up in the air. Don't give up on any hope until it's all over, you guys.

I've found this youtube video http://youtu.be/6NDthh21RsE , which is a full version of the song with a lighter tempo presented in Episod 46. Try this one and you'll like it, too:

The Lyric: From Episode 46

All the lights are shining bright down in the city
shining like a million dreams
sometimes I feel like I'm upside down
and all those dreams are falling right past me
everybody needs, a dream catcher

someone to be there
when your dreams start to fall
everybody needs a dream catcher

Someone to be there
when the bad dreams are all you can see
dream catcher, catch me

All the dreams are shining bright in the city
one of them must be for me
sometimes I feel if I could just touch one
that would be enough, enough for me
everybody needs a dream catcher

someone to be there
when your dreams start to fall
everybody needs a dream catcher

Someone to be there
when the bad dreams are all you can see
dream catcher, catch me

catch me
catch me.

  • I love this song Q.Q

  • @torrie330 thanks. the song is inspiring when I am down.

  • CONDOleeZZa RICE famously shopped for shoes while post-KATrINA New Orleans sank into Lake PONTcharTRAIN on 9/1/05. Unrelated: Using only one pair of shoes or PBS series “Connect With English” (1997) having the bus ticket agent say to Rebecca Casey (KARin Anglin): “People seem to think you can’t tie your shoe laces without a college degree these days” after Rebecca told him her reason for going to San Francisco. The scene also has soap hunk Mark Andrew CONsueLOS (b. 3/30/71) as ALberto Mendoza

  • @GWhiz99 thanks for the comment and for the info.

  • Karin Anglin does lots of voiceovers for TV/radio ads. and does some acting too!

I wonder if she is Irish-American. Did you know "Alberto" is Kelly Ripa's husband ?

  • @indyfan22k Now I get to know that she's been doing voiceovers, which is outstanding. thanks for sharing your info.

  • This series of Connect With English is availalble to buy on DVD but it's steep!! $289. You or we can get it from the Annenberg CPB website!!

Karin did sing some songs besides Dreamcatcher!!!

She sang "Go To Sleep", "Dreamcatcher", "Traveling Light", and "Silent Night"

Even if she recorded the songs she sang from the show onto a CD, I would snatch it up!
