@foxxfire1181: Male circumcision is not just removing some skin. That 'skin' is sexually functioning tissue packed with nerve endings. What sensation is left after circumcision is a small fraction of what was left before. If you're against female circumcision, you have no business not being against male circumcision too.

Okay, why can't we talk about FGM without MGM having to be brought up? I agree with you, like most people who are against FGM do, that they're both wrong but really, this is SO MUCH WORSE, and even if it wasn't, if you made a video about the problems with MGM I would not go on there and say "yeah, but what about FGM?" I would say, "yes, that is wrong." I don't get the need to ignore this issue in favor of another one.

@sarakaster No problem. Thanks for the sentiment. I probably didn't convince you, but maybe I planted a seed in a reader. I do suggest you watch that video I linked to about male circumcision. It is very well done. Its a shame that georgetown had to leave it unlisted to keep it from being restricted to adult content.

Well there are a lot of people here who play down the effects or even are for it becaue of the traditional aspect. So for that I haven't made the same exper. here as you say you did.

And on the other hand, it's sad to see that even if all people who hear about it are clearly againt FGM still nothing has changed in africa.

@sarakaster Oh, sorry to post so many comments, but once you establish that the effects are similar the rates don't even compare. Male circumcision comes in front by a landslide. The reason I talk about male circumcision is that it is one of the only issues that people haven't made up their mind about or haven't heard about. I could post all day about FGM and reach no one that I disagreed with.
