A Bus Ride

A traditional ride on top of a bus in Kotli dist. This short clip takes us from Dhanna through Dhunghi to Nangal and then back. In the old days, there was little private transport and few buses which were mostly crowded. It was customary to let children, old and women to sit on seats and the rest to climb on top or on teh back ladders.

A frightening experience. I did it many times - riding on top of roof or hanging off back ladders. Feels really scary now but it did not feel anything at the time.
