I bought a cheaper alternative to a Wacom Cintiq. Here are my first impressions!

  • have you installed driver from the website and limit the screen propotion?

  • @sinefinehabitarevolo tried everything. The problem seem to have disappeared. It works great now, but I can't explain how or why.

  • BenBeats, did you ever solve the problem? or is it still happening..? I am looking to buy a tablet and I do not have the money for the Wacom Alternative. I found this one as a LCD tablet I could actually afford but the issue of the horizontal lines you were having pushes me away from buying it, what would you recommend?

  • @rockstarajw The problem seem to have disappeared. It works great now, but I can't explain how or why. So, in this state, I highly recommend it. And this problem seems to be a rare one, so your chances of running into it are slim.

  • Hi Ben... Friend of mine who have bought the visboard(confirmed herethat it's practically the same), brought their screen to my house and it did not display any of the problems they had at home (same as your problems)... But we think we found the source of the problem, since we use the same drivers, that couldn't be it, but my machine is running on Windows Vista... So somewhere the problems seems to lay in windows 7.

Since I want to buy a windows 7 machine, I also want this problem solved ;).

  • @stopheinynu The problem seem to have disappeared. It works great now, but I can't explain how or why.

  • I just ordered one off ebay. I would have ordered bosto kingtee possibly if i felt more comfortable with choice of sellers and paypal approved sites of course. I tried ordering from excaliburpc the night before but they contacted me today for a price adjustment of more than $30 because of tax, yet i live in Florida and they are in California. Either way that does not matter now i got one coming. Now looking for a inexpensive versatile mount.

  • I have a question, when you press down the on/off switch at the top of the pen, does the red LED under the side button stay on? or does it blink and stay off?

Mine stays off and only blinks when I'm pressing down/up the on/off switch.

  • where is the retailer located? just in case you need to send it for repair...

  • Wow.... I've received MSP19 and installed drivers but pen doesn't function. The computer or the monitor doesn't read the pen at all.... WTH

  • PERFECT Wacom Cintiq alternative! I bought it from Amazon US with the solid vesa stand for $499, free shipping. It's extremely sturdy, the screen is solid, and most of all it works with any known painting software on the planet, incl. MangaStudio, which didn't work on Bosto 19". I highly recommend Yiynova, since they are very accurate people and will answer all your questions. I never had any stylus/driver issues after installation, calibration, and restart. Fantastic machine!

  • do you still have the line problem? have you figured it out yet?
