A brief synopsis of each of the seven parables in the Lotus Sutra. An exploration of how some of these parables also exist in the Bible, the Koran, and other sacred texts. An extemporaneous response to questions about universal principles, collective unconsciousness and Joseph Campbell. http://www.thecompassionnetwork.blogspot.com/

  • You are a very good teacher. To me the lotus sutras says "your perfect when you are ready to accept it"

  • What a lovely video!

  • This is almost two years old, but if you are still teaching, as I hope you are, I hope you now relate the hidden gem in the folds of the cloak as the Buddha Nature we all posses, but fail to realize it. The Lotus Sutra is very special in that all of the parables that you pull from the Sutra are all expedient means of the Buddha to teach us all that we are all Bodhisattvas and can all attain Buddhahood in our current lifetime.

Much respect and love and Namu Myoho Renge Kyo,

    Kairen Drew Warren
