Mo Charaid, Mo Ghaisgeach (2009) is a film about two elderly ladies from the Hebridean island of Colonsay. Despite their physical disabilities, Flora - the oldest islander - and Jessie continue to remain independent and socialise. As two of the last native Gaelic speakers on the island, they take us on a journey which reflects a snippet of island life. This journey also reveals their lust for life, a glimpse of the island's past and a superstition for thriving. They are heros to the islanders, they are heros to each other.
Mo Charaid, Mo Ghaisgeach won the FilmG award for 'Best Documentary' in 2010.
