This is one of my absolute favorite deleted/alternate R rated version scenes. The way Jeff/Herbert says, "He's jealous." And the way he looks after Dan like, "But I just made pot roast!!!" :P

One thing I've always wondered: what is he laughing at when he's reading the medical book?

This is probably a question we're better off not knowing the answer to...

Not sure why I like this scene. It's either because the book he's reading is slightly inappropriate to be giggling at OR the The STFU face that Herbert gives at the end. My guess it's the later.

The book Herbert is reading is titled "scientific errors", so i guess it is amusing to him how stupid other people are.

I was always thinking it was because whatever's written in the book, it's either ridiculously simplistic so it's amusing to his high intellect or it's (now) factually incorrect. Like, "This book says you can't bring back the dead. Um, been there, done that!"
