The guys in this video are idiots tial in general make good shit but most people dont know what they need to make it work in their car. ken and ryan know whats up.

This video is total BS. Tial bov's DO NOT surge unless you have the WRONG spring installed. People need to understand that in order to choose the right spring, you gotta measure your vacuum at idle accurately. Not just with a gauge, but actual manifold vacuum. Once you know your vacuum go to Tial's spring chart and get the correct spring. Just for the record, most WRXs and or STI's with stock cams are always in the range of the 11PSI spring.

@hijodelpremio get a lighter spring btw

@hijodelpremio surge is the compressor wheel having excess boost pressure being pushed back into it instead of out the blow off valve. That it compressor surge. the blow off valve can be surging... i dont doubt that because thats what it sounds like. But compressor surge and blow off valve flutter are two different things. do your research. TIAL is a top quality blow off valve they also make excellent ext W/G's so do your research.

Love!!! Ughhhh can't wait to get one!!

@ryan348 im an idiot? then u explain why it does that... why dont u do ur research douche bag...
-
@hijodelpremio your an idiot

@hijodelpremio No? This is because the BOV is not opening at lower boost pressure. The throttle plate closes, air has no where to go but back to the turbo, the reversing air is bouncing off the blades and can be heard through the intake.
lol, tial dont surged like that when they have the good spring. my friend run a tial on his gt30r RSX and it don't surge so stop to bash tial to sell your your bov.

first of all that is just harmless flutter, personally i have ran these on all my vehicles. you said you have a 12 psi spring. got to the tial website and get yourself a lighter spring. another thing, people also get that from using shitty vacum line that collapses in the transistion to vacum.
