he's got an eraser rubber bandeded to over the strings near the top of the neck, its like resting your finger over all the strings, but not pressing down on them.

kitatyan how loud do you have to turn it up to produce the effect from tapping. I always play without an amp so whenever I perform stuff like this it is really quiet. Also, how do you keep the upper part of the string from vibrating when you tap?
