The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) Clip 1: Miss Quack Quack

Okay, so alot of people have been asking me to post the entire movie. But I am afraid my account could be deleted so I will post a few of my favourite clips.

Here's my first one.

George Stevens' epic screen adaption of one of the most loving documents to emerge from World War II- the diary of the 13 year old jewish girl - Anne Frank.
To escape the horrors of Nazi Persecution, Otto Frank (Joseph Schildkraut) had his wife (Gusti Huber) and their two daughters, Anne (Millie Perkins) and Margot (Diane Baker) in a dsused Amsterdam annex for two years. Also hiding with them were Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan (Lou Jacobi & Shelly Winters), their son Peter (Richard Beymer) and a dentist, Mr. Dussel (Ed Wynn).

A 21 year old Millie Perkins playing the 13 year old Anne Frank. And the guy from West Side Story playing Peter. Probably 2 of the worst mis - casts in the history of cinema. But this is Hollywood. They don't care the actors bear no resemblance to the people they play. They care about looks. I can't stand watching 30 seconds of this movie. It's such a disservice to Anne, imo.

Anne Frank: The Whole Story, which is on YouTube, is one of the best versions I've seen. True to the characters & story.

As for anyone foolish enough to claim Anne Frank did not exist, her existence and writings have been proved over and over in multiple countries in multiple courts. The arresting officer that took them from the annex was found years later, and willingly told the events of that day, down to the exact details of dumping Anne's case of papers and diary on the floor. That, and other details that more that corroborated Anne's life. They're just trolls making stuff up, riling people up for fun.

"Anna dear, You're hot." O_o I know what she is saying but this movie is so bad it's hard to keep my perverted mind from twisting it.

Watch the 2001 remake "Anne Frank,The whole Story" At least. The girl who played anne in the 2001 remake looked more like the real one. I think the girl's name is Hannah Taylor Gordon, Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok I get it. This takes place in a universe where Anne Frank was a drag-king and Margot wears contacts. And all cars sound like gay guys on riding mowers. Also Mrs.Frank was italian.
