The game takes place in December 2034 when the gradual effects of global warming have spread diseases and natural disasters around the world. Amid this bleak scenario, the small town of Silver City in the USA's Midwest suffers a near cataclysmic incident when it is stuck by an unidentified 'comet' from outer space. When lead character Lana regains consciousness, her world has descended into mayhem. Violent outbursts, fury, rage, wreckage and death; the world she knew seems to have become a living hell. As if struck by a mysterious virus, most of the people she once knew have now become part of a wild horde. Despite her wounds, Lana must run as far as possible to escape this nightmare. The viral process has also begun inside her but she refuses to become one of them. The presence of Amy, an enigmatic eight-year-old autistic girl with strange powers, who seems defenseless, will force her to make choices that will change both their lives. Both Lana and Amy will have to trust and help each other to escape various pursuers who take the form of infected humans, grisly creatures, military Special Forces and even other survivors.

Let me ask you something, when you played Mario, did you bitch about those characters disappearing? No. You didn't, because Mario was an amazing, revolutionizing game. So don't just pass off a game because it has a semi-unrealistic component, oh my, the bodies don't stay on the ground. Maybe the contamination and the suns piercing UV rays disintigrate the body, there could be a valid reason. You sir, are not a gamer.

@Alteonify LA Noire runs better on ps3, better draw distance, SSAO, FFXIII is sub hd on xbox with highly compressed FMV, Saints Row 3 runs better on ps3 it has 0 screen tearing while xbox has framerate issues plus 46% screen tearing plus all the things i listed before. So you saying all Multi plat games run better on xbox BULL SHIT xbot!

@d1jal FF is a Sony series, first and foremost. There's no getting around that. LA Noire doesn't seem to run any better on the PS3, from my experiences. However, Vanquish and JC2 are superior on the PS3. I have never played Saboteur. Demon Souls was a PS3 exclusive, so Dark Souls does run better on the PS3. Mass Effect 2 ran like shit on the PS3, since Mass Effect was an Xbox exclusive,

All through out the trail I thought it sounded ok, combat looked like it needs to be more fluid but it could be fixed and overall didn't sound to bad, then they said "amy's powers" and it ruined everything...
