Earth is currently in a period of warming. Over the last century, Earth's average temperature rose about 1.1 F (0.6C). In the last two decades, the rate of our world's warming accelerated. Scientists predict that the globe will continue to warm over the course of the 21st century. Is this warming trend a reason for concern? After all, our world has witnessed extreme warm periods before, such as during the time of the dinosaurs. Earth has also seen numerous ice ages on roughly 11,000-year cycles for at least the last million years. So, change is perhaps the only constant in Earth's 4.5-billion-year history.

The earth is heating from, get this, are you ready?...THE SUN!!! *ALL* the planets in our solar system are heating up (including Pluto, 300% warmer) because of cyclic, solar activity. This is normal. If you listen to lying politians who only want to impose the CARBON TAX on you, then you're a fool. Do your own research people.

why the earth is in a current "heating" process is because of a "carbon-saturated environment" that has choked the atmosphere by it's methods of destruction via ....for ex:....CFC's . created by fossil fuels. the real issue at hand is will we be able to survive this process and for how long? thank god some scientists are christian!

anyway, what concerns me commonsense, is when politics become invested. It can and is like having a bedfellow with a venereal. Was nice but what is the damage. This is how it always is with politicians and science. Weighing out cost benefit of politicizing an issue. But when Science is involved the world is at risk. There is no preventing this, there is however a benefit to awareness. So it boils down to who is watching
