Job Description:

Orbis Technologies, Inc. is a small company based in Annapolis, MD. We provide world-class Strategic Technology Services to organizations with critical mandates, including national security and Department of Defense endeavors. Orbis possesses an elite team of subject-matter experts who help clients assess, optimize, and advance their technology portfolio in the most sensitive security environments.

Orbis is seeking an experienced IT/Network Engineer to support our multiple advanced technology projects. The position is part-time with full-time potential.

BS degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent is required.
DoD Secret security clearance required.
Creative, driven and self-motivated.
Desired experience:
o Oracle 10g/11g or other similar RDBMS experience preferred.
o Proven experience building email servers (MS Exchange, etc.).
o Proven experience building protected network environments.
o Experience building and managing VPN, File Servers, Mail Servers, etc.
o Experience with Windows and Linux based systems.
o Working knowledge of configuration management tools (SVN and TRAC).
o Experience implementing Virtualization solutions (VM Ware in particular).

  • That's because mediocre jobs don't really pay. It's the intelligent jobs such as this that make the large dollars. 55k for an assistant computer engineer job. Better than warehousing or food shit.

  • It's a sad day when your job is giving people jobs that prob pays more than your own.
