In a show the previous week, IWTDI played this U2 cover, "New Year's Day", at a Christmas show. It was such an overwhelming hit, that they included this cover again just a day or so before year's end. I Was Totally Destroying It is quickly becoming an influence in the local music scene around Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, and a "draw" to book a show with. This was from Carrboro's Cat's Cradle in Carrboro NC, playing a benefit show along with Ships, and Wil Donegan and The Apologies. L-R in this U2 cover, IWTDI is: Martin Anderson on bass, leader John Booker on guitar & lead vocals, James Hepler on drums, Curtis Armfield on guitar, and Rachel Hirsh on keys. Visit them at www.myspace.com/iwtdi, and say howdy! For more videos of them and of other bands playing around the Chapel Hill area, see the blog at myspace.com/betsyssmile . (This and other recent additions will be in next update.) For photos, see www.templesofgrey.fotki.com.
