48151 On The Cumbrian Fellsman - 2/8/08

A video showing the delightful Cumbrian scenery which just happens to have a train passing through it (if you look closely!!) 8F 48151 returns the train to Carnforth approaching and crossing the Kent Viaduct. The video was shot from Arnside Knott.

Fan-bloody-tastic Austin. The views fron the 'Knott' are mind blowing on a clear day.

I've filmed steam from there, but its either been very windy or cloud comes down at the crucial time. Such is life. LoL.

@acw71000 Now your talking. I was with the 'Duke' lads today behind 71000 at the ELR and its running superbly. Its pencilled in to work the 'Cumbrian' coast run in July, so keep your fingers crossed.

The newly painted Deltic 'R.S.G' was running with the 'Duke' and sounded absolutely awesome. Especially when they cranked both engines up. But you could 'see' the pound signs blasting out the exhausts. LoL.

Cheers Chris, I think the location has potential, with a better camera and mic.than mine and a different time of year perhaps to allow a little more smoke. Austin
