MacBook late 2008 13 month old aluminum model (not Pro) 2 GB RAM, 2.0GHz core 2 duo processor, Mac OS X.6 Snow Leopard 64 Bit Vs. Sony VAIO VGN-NW270F, 4GB RAM, 2.20GHz core 2 duo processor, Windows 7 64 Bit, 2 weeks old VAIO so it has default programs only and a nearly empty Hard Drive unlike the mac that has 54GB left on the Hard Drive. surprisingly microsofts new OS, windows 7(not beta , 7 came preinstalled) running on this PC with double the RAM and a faster processor and the MacBook boots, restarts and shuts down faster than this VAIO.
