For 120 years, Noah preached a warning, "Its gonna rain". The unbelievers all got drowned. Think about it.

America was not fully formed until Hawaii became the 50th state. And even with that it still is not "fully formed". There still can be Amendments added to the Constitution. America could evolve for ever.
.
You may be trying to make a point that is not coming across the way you would like it to because of how you are phrasing it.
-
"America was born as a fully formed constituted nation on 1789"
.
It is incorrect.
.
These evolving steps in America are not it's birth. There were not 50 states at that time either. So America was still not "fully formed". Are we to also believe that America was "born" when Hawaii became the 50th state? It would stand to reason following your argument that we should.
.
It's ok to admit the rabbi is wrong. You don't think he's infallible, do you?

1789, maybe that's when America began to speak. Babies don't speak when they are born. Or maybe that's when America got out of diapers. After all, the Revolution was pretty messy.
.
Whatever the case, America was born on July 4th, 1776. That date is very special in the history of the world. If you are going to insist America was not born on that day then you will look a bit nutty. You will like you have gone overboard. You will look like a religious zealot.

Yes, life begins at conception. The Declaration of Independence was conceived long before it was put on paper and adopted on July 4th, 1776. It was conceived in the minds of the Founding Fathers long before July 4, 1776 but was birthed on July 4th, 1776. That birth was the birth the Nation of America, the most wonderful date in America's history, it's birthday, July 4th, 1776.
.
Did you know that on July 4th, 1976. America celebrated it's 200th BIRTHday?

@SomeLittleShoe
He says, "America was born as a fully formed constituted nation on 1789"
How could that statement possibly be incorrect?
America cannot be fully formed without all of it's government positions seated with people. The government positions where not fully seated until 1789, therefore America was not fully formed until 1789. All of his statements are accurate.
It's like this:
America was born as a new nation in 1776.
Amercia was born as a fully formed nation in 1789.

@SomeLittleShoe
So you just have a problem with him saying that America was born on 1789 even though he acknowledges 1776 as being the true beginning of the nation?
I'd also like to point out that It doesn't matter whether America was born on that date or not in the first place, his arguments do not stand on it having to be that date.
And about Tom Daschle, the Senate Majority Leader said 212 years in his speech, why did he say 212 years? Are you going to say that he is wrong?

@SomeLittleShoe
He even defines his terms at 32:32, the term "born" as he is using it means that America has
1. A Constitution
2. A House of Representatives
3. The Senate
4. A President
America did not have all of those things until 1789. Rabbi Cahn is completely accurate in all of his statements on this issue.

@SomeLittleShoe
At 32:07 he clearly states that America was CONVEICED on July 4th (Meaning 1776, the first "July 4th" as a holiday, Independance day.) but was BORN on Arpil 30th 1789, in Jewish culture the life of a baby BEGINS at conception, he is NOT denying that America BEGAN in 1776, in fact he says that it did, but was BORN in 1789; life BEGINS at conception.

Yes, America as a nation began in 1776, I am not disputing that and neither is Rabbi Cahn in this video.
You simply are not listening to what he is saying, go back and listen to what he said and you'll see that he never says that America BEGAN in 1789, he says that it was BORN in 1789, there is a big difference between the two terms, especially when you take into account that he is speaking from the perspective of Jewish culture.

All of the rabbi's statements are correct on this issue, President George Washington was inaugurated on April 30th, 1789, George Washington was the first president, so how could America be a "fully formed" nation in 1776 if they didn't even have a president until 1789? There's no way you could say that the U.S. Government was fully formed and working in 1776 if the first president was inaugurated 1789, unless George had a time machine there is no way!
