Today we went to La Fayette, an extremely trendy, upmarket and expensive shopping centre in the middle of Paris. To give you an idea of how expensive - I found some leather boots that went 3/4 up a girls leg, on sale for around $1500 AUD. After going up to the roof to see the view of Paris, we went to the oldest "square" in Paris, to the park there, and had some coffee, whilst watching some "interesting" live entertainment. Then we went to Montmarte, and the Moulin Rouge area, and to get there we raced Daniel, Ingrid and the Flemings by taking two different routes on the Metro. They needed to change trains once, but their route took them further away. We needed to change trains twice, and had a more direct route. We won by almost 10 minutes! And we got shouted drinks when we had dinner near our hotel later that night. Anjuli tried escargot, and did not like it. I'm glad I didn't try it.
