  • Oh no! I love the Olympics' "Western movies" but alas this is not the original recording maybe it's not even the Olympics - it's so bland! Shame.

  • @pinchold Sorry to disappoint you. That is the Olympics. Wouldn't have worked without them.

  • where is GARY COOPER the true western legend???????????/

  • Sorry... I love Gary Cooper also. I just had to work with the scenes I had.

  • Fun video

  • When The Olympics recorded this song, there was a glut of Westerns on TV. I wonder if anyone else is sort of expecting a novelty record similar to this, except complaining about all the alleged "reality" shows that are now clogging the TV dial. After all, there are entire channels devoted to reality shows, and even The History Channel and The Learning Channel show mostly reality shows. Encore Westerns has the right idea, but we need a basic cable channel that shows all Westerns, agreed?

  • @TheFantaC Nice job, FantaC! You even managed to include a clip from the very underrated comedy "Rustler's Rhapsody". I love the original version of this song, but in this you can more easily understand the lyrics. Thanks again for posting this!

  • @TheFantaC I found the original for you:

  • All wonderful films here, although I would have liked to have seen Gary Cooper too!

  • who's that tappin on the garden gate taps eveynite at half past eight

  • what was the one with the girl on the train tracks called?

  • Much better than most of the other ones on here. Comancheros, Blazing Saddles, and what is undeniably Eastwood's best film ever, Hang Em High. Thumbs up, but I'd like to see Hombre, Ride the High Country, Union Pacific, Shane, Fort Apache, Gunman's Walk, The Last Hunt, and The Bravados, the magnificent 8 of westerns
