[contd ] i think to enjoy this very precious song it is a must to know and understand this language . i totally agree with you that lata ji's version not only excels but sounds divine ! i personally can't imagine anything more beautiful than lata ji's version ! thanks

dear sir, its good to understand via translation if one does not know the language , but transliteration is not an easy thing to do and it never sounds or feels like the original, whether poetry or prose . don't you think it loses that REAL FEEL of the original words ? but it is necessary for understanding for a non speaker of that language . the words in this poem are just sooo poetic and sound sooo divine in lata ji 's voice [contd ]

Thank you, thank you, . Felt so happy to see Sudhir Phadke singing , who presented us " Jyoth kalash jhalke " at one end and " Khush hai jamaanaa aaj pehali thaariq hai " on other end -Arani Apparao-Hyderabad A.P.
Beautiful Bansuri Intro Warming our Hearts to Such an "Utterly Sweet Heartfelt Plea" in a Classic Geet ! I wouldn't want to listen to this in anyone else's BUT SUDHIR PHADAKE'S Perfectly Suited Expressive Voice & Style! The way he brings out the deep pathos cannot be replicated by any other singer! Must say am totally impressed by the *depth of sweetness of thought* expressed within the lyrics!! Hats off to the Lyricist Pt. Narender Sharma!
A True Vintage GEM! Thanks SJ! (& arunkunj!) 25/10/10

@ritupm Sudhir Phadke's clip is good, but if I were to compare Ritu, Lata's version excels.

@vpmutube The video clip is unrelated to the song. I just dubbed the song on Jyoti Kalash video from Harish "Amrutvani's collection.

@crazyoldsongs You are right. I overlooked your comment posted long time ago. I found translation of the song from another upload by "Laxmiravishankar" today.

@SJisBack
Don't go away, my love, after our hearts have been tied together with the flower garland of love. Don't go away. Don't go away !
Open your heart (to our love), my precious one. Don't forget (our love).
How will I endure this separation when my heart is so filled with this attachment (towards you)
Don't stay angry with me, my love!
* Translated by "Laxmiravishankar" on upload of her rendition of the song.
