After numerous false alarms, the day has finally come in which Beyoncé Knowles has given birth to her first child!

The 30-year-old superstar reportedly welcomed a healthy baby girl named Ivy Blue Carter at New York City's Lenox Hospital on Saturday night (January 7) via a scheduled C-section with husband Jay-Z by her side.

According to the NY Daily News, Miss Knowles checked in under the name of Ingrid Jackson with ABC News telling that she arrived at the hospital on Friday night.

Doing everything possible to keep the birthing process a private affair, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are said to have shelled out a hefty $1.3 million to rent out the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hospital during their stay - though another hospital source dismissed the claim, saying, "We don't have entire floors sitting empty at Lenox Hill."

Is it really happening this time?

After months of rumors about her pregnancy - including that it was fake, Beyonce is now said to be close to giving birth.

She is at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and is "about to" deliver her first child, according to the Daily News and ABC News.

The paper attributes the news to "sources" and says that the superstar singer has checked in under the name of Ingrid Jackson.

She and her husband, Jay-Z, are said to have rented out fourth floor for $1.3 million. ABC News reports that she checked in Friday night.

Several security guards were spotted patrolling the outside of the hospital Saturday night. And a Lenox Hill staffer confirmed to the Daily News that a patient named Ingrid Jackson was in a "labor room."
