@eys292 It's not from Congo but Ivory Coast. Mapouka is a traditional dance from the little village of ahizi in south of the country. Nigui Saff, One of the first mapouka's group singer is from this village. This dance was not vulgar before the group " les tueuses du mapouka" use it like porn. You should search . Nigui Saff, Youles-sabina, Mot a Mot - Samidjo, A Nous Les Petit - Alida, A nous les petits-M'Djikpa, Pacific - Soungraya (this one is less traditional),

And pleasse get it straight with Mapouka it is not from the Caribeans or Ghana or Nigeria. Mapouka is from CONGO!! the music and the dance. so tired of people not gettin it right with that and its one of my favorite genres of African music that and Makossa, coupe decale.
