True, but it should never have gotten to be a war for oil. If the united states spended more money on education for decades other then fighting wars, revolutionary battery technology might have been founded alot earlier causing us to have electric cars by now instead of having only researched the basic foundations for such a mobile to become mainstream perhaps in 10years if were quik at it.

Oil will run out sooner.

1) electric cars arent new, they have been around for more than 2 centuries, daimler benz (formerly merc benz) in particular

2) funding militants? such an american thing to say. Think about other countries like Australia and NZ, oil comes from the middle east there, but they go calling them militants......so redneck

3) thirdly, a prius is not hybrid. what powers its generators? oil does.

4) bmw M5 5.0L V8 vs prius 1.4 4cyl on HWY, BMW m5 gets more MPG, or LPK as we call in the west
