@JayGatsbyOdysseus 7 world records, he missed the hundred fly by .18
-
why no googles or caps?
-
The song choice you have picked made this race look too easy.
-
so chill
-
To this day, only Spitz really has mastered the Olympics. He had World Records in all his 7 disciplines in 1972, Phelps did not get World Records in all his 8 disciplines
-
lad.

Broke the WR. No cap, no goggles and no super suit. All while rockin the 70s porno stache. What a boss.
-
»spitz« means »pointy« in the way of »sharp« – there is missing an »e«: »Spitze« is »Top«

Yeah, but only later on in Rome at the World Championship - 49.82. Still unbeaten to the present time.

Did Phelps get 8 world records or just 8 gold medals.

He had 7 WRs in Beijing, "failing" only in 100m butterfly, in which he - nevertheless - set a new OR.

The song is "Fly, robin, fly" (1975) by German group "Silver Convention"

Yeah, you're right - the medal ceremony was for the 200m freestyle with its scandalous Adidas supposed "hidden advertising". I just jointed it all together to give the "flavor" of these past times :O)))
