I sing it better with the capo on the 3rd fret, but I like to be true to the song and for some reason, Ian Anderson uses a 4th fret capo for this one!

  • Very, very good. Is that in a different tuning, or has the capo altered the sound that much? Either way, kudos.

  • @nmdodge Same tuning as Salamander, DADGAD and capo on 4th fret. Thank you for writing!

  • Just want to say thank you for you video I have done a version my self and used this as a tutorial. Great version by the way! my problem was that I think I played it too fast, you have it just right! :}>

  • you rock man! now i got to learn this!

  • I love your work, you are an inspiration. I'll never be able to play like that, but I do like to dream. good job, Ian is proud that his vision is continued.

  • @marksecunda How did you learn this song on guitar? I can't find tabs or lessons and without those I'm screwed...

  • Fantastic cover! I doubt Ian Anderson himself could play this as well nowadays. One of my fave Tull songs.

  • Shame it's a moment out of sync Dude, this is a fabulous cover of the song that truly redeemed 'Minstrel'.

Love the Ian Anderson faces too :o)
