Camera viewfinder testing

Turn up the sound!

Here I'm showing some fun stuff with a viewfinder from -93, and using it with technology from -95 / -96.

It's 1/2 inch diagonal, so I got to squint to see anything.

Someday I plan to make some night vision stuff with this.

When I look into the viewfinder of my camcorder I don't see anything but a gray screen with red outline, do you know what's the problem?

Check the video signal line, that might be dead.

Or maybe the problem is something simple, like the lenses out of focus.

Play around with it, see what you can do.

Anyways, I'd like to see it!

Is the picture colored or have I smoked too much shit? I thought all viewfinder CRT were black and white

@holycrapapie oh I need to press the auto/manual button for the lcd image to flip for viewfinder to work.

@holycrapapie Now when I turn the lcd so it faces the front the image does not flip and the viewfinder does not work.....hmm

@holycrapapie Ah hah! I turned the lcd screen so that it faces in front of the camcorder and the viewfinder works. When I'm filming someone in front of me they can see them self too. I think that's the reason why this camcorder was made like this.
