Here Come The Judge by the Magistrates 1968

This 45 was one of many family records that I studied as a kid. I love this song! While researching this record, I discovered that there were quite a few "Here Come The Judge" records, not one of them being remotely similar to the other! This one, by the Magistrates, is novelty version based on the Laugh-In TV series judge skits, which were probably inspired by the earlier "Judge" records (talk about trends creating trends!).

Haven't heard this since it came out in 1968, when "Laugh~In" was actually on, played in heavy rotation along with Tiny Tim's "Tiptoe Through The Tulips"

Yeah- Lots of other variations. I think this one is not the original incarnation of the judge theme, but it's the one I like the best. I love this song! Glad it brought back some good old memories.

Jerry and Mike are great. The girl is out of this world. Jean Hillary, that's her real voice. This was the first version out.
