Western medical research is newtonian, reductionist, imput oriented and almost wholly uninterested in cause. If cause mattered than we would have to compair ourselves to a control group that had the health qualities we wished for. In todays research we take "normal" people and subject them to chemical compounds and monitor the disease statistics. See the difference? One approach is to look for a patentable product that mitigates the effects of some disfunction while the other form of research references nature and seeks to understand the blockage to normal cellular processies.

  • Wow! No wonder I burnt out my adrenals and my general health. I was focusing on losing weight rather than health! Now that I recognize isolationist thinking I can make better choices. Thanks!! I put this video on my blog today for my readers (TheSkinnyOnline). We need this kind of info!

  • Awesome, thank you for sharing this video. Love to hear people are being helped with this info :-)

  • 'This person just ate the whole carrot patch!'

hahahaha. So true, and yet no laughing matter. I was at the San Diego Zoo and one of the Orangutans had diabetes. As agribusiness pumps their surplus of mutated corn into humans, cows, salmon and dogs, we're researching the cure to the emerging issues.

what part of the car is the most important? the engine? wrong, the part that is broken.

the whole is greater than the sum of the parts

  • but in the uk we have a public health service which is free and throughly regulated, any doctor which wrongly prescribed any drug will be ridiculed and will shamed in the papers and will be garunteed out of a job, and in the uk we go to doctors who work in clinic for medicine, not companies, so theres no link between them, and doctors don't instantly prescribe drugs, they know it's better to get better without drugs then with drugs

  • one little thing... before anyone points out that lions aren't fat casue they run around hunting all the time... lions sleep about 20 hours a day.

  • I really don't understand your problem with research, Paul. I see you've responded to other comments, perhaps you'd care to give me some of your reasoning beyond what's in the video clip?

  • Wow Paul, I was just absolutely sickened by reading some research papers for a project (they suggested that due to the high fat content of mother's milk, breastfed infants were more likely to develop cardiovascular disease!!!). Can't believe how absolutely fitting this video was. Thanks so much.

  • some interesting points. especially " ....animals in zoo"

though I have noticed dogs eating grass...

Eat as per requirements I believe is message here[though may be mistaken] I agree with that though does it not depend if a being has an ailment of some description or not ?...such as a digestive disorder etc

    thanks

  • i love feeding my dog raw meat, paul chek, you are my idol, totally agree with not needing so many useless research studies

  • Also, you shouldnt just eat vitamin pills and no food. If you eat plenty of normal food with it, then that will supplement the supplement :)

  • I don't agree with all this. The body isn't that picky. We can eat almost anything and get by just fine. Even in nature among same species of fruit and veg there are ones with higher vitamin levels in one region and lower in the other region. Say you eat the higher vitamin C orange, you don't have to eat a low vitamin C orange after that to compensate in order to get 'the whole package'.

  • I love this guy...

  • its true but hummanity had to do all those reasearch as a big research that we dont need research lol fuked up world
