A way not to get in trouble with lying- Sarcasm. If you, like me, are constantly sarcastic, it's hard to judge you if you're lying or just being a smart ass.

Take this simple scenario. Your sibling comes in and askes if Mom is home. You reply 'No'. Are you saying no because she really isn't or are you saying no because her car is clearly parked out front and your sibling just looked over it or something? If they get mad because you 'lied', it just makes them look like a sour puss.(:

When you are remembering you are still using your creativity to reproduce your memory. Memory isn't stored like you remember it. It's stored in sort of spark-notes. The rest, you reproduce. Try to remember an episode that happened a week ago picture by picture. You would find it difficult if not impossible. It's the way the brain condenses information. So even if the eyes, did, work like that, one still wouldn't be able to tell if a person is lying or not.

Apparently when you lie the muscles towards the outside of your eyes contract a little, most the time it isn't even noticeable and you have to look really closely. I remember one time one of my friends was into psychology and he knew this, but he didn't know that I did so he thought he could tell when I was lying but all I did was twitch my eye an unnoticeable amount every time I wanted him to think I was lying. I could literally walk circles around him without him knowing.
